Today is a very, very, very special day for me.

For the very first time I heard a Hollies song from the new album "Staying Power" on radio. I listen to the German radio station "Bremen Eins" every day and they play music between 1954 and today. Sometimes you can hear more than just the two or three same hit songs on this radio station. Two weeks ago they played "Write On" and "The Baby" by The Hollies. This morning at 11.10 a.m. they played "Emotions" by The Hollies. First I couldn't believe my ears but it was true. And the song was not "So Damn Beautiful". It really was "Emotions".

This was a very exciting morning for me because it is unusual to hear a song from an album an artist doesn't promote in a country and The Hollies just come to Germany for Oldie Festivals to play ten or twelve songs but no new stuff. That annoys me very much beacuse I would like to see them play a whole set in Germany. I can't afford to go to England every year to see them. So it was good to hear a new song on German radio.
