Thanks Rob and to Bobby - I really enjoyed listening to that! After two hectic days, my other half was having an after dinner sleep on the sofa, the dog was also fast asleep (who did all the work?!!) Wondering what to do, I remembered the radio prog. I put on my earphones, got a glass of wine and was jigging about on the computer chair (and trying to remember not to sing out loud), to the great tracks Bobby chose (Needle in a Haystack by the Velvelettes is my favourite girl group song). Good job no one could see me. Good Hollies' stories inbetween the tracks as well. |

An absolutely fabulous Radio program - thanks Bob for sharing your memories. I feel so lucky to also come from Burnley...amazing to hear Bob talk about the Electron record shop in Burnley and the Queens pub in Rawtenstall - part of his history and both still existing in 2010
Happy New Year to everyone.

Terrific interview and program with Bobby. He selected some great tracks to provide background for his and the Hollies musical history,
Thanks for the link! |

I totally agree with Carrie Anne! Interesting, informative, good music - all in all a great pleasure. Thanks Rob. |
