It was another enjoyable Hollies concert, Kilworth Theatre is a very intimate place but that is part of it's appeal I think. Good banter between them, Peter was saying how good music sounds with the aid of alcohol and Tony said how if they were having problems recording a song they would go around the corner from Abbey Road to the pub and upon returning the music sounded better. When they played' Stop! Stop! Stop!'Tony made a mistake with his banjo intro which resulted in much laughter amoung themselves, at one point Peter's microphone became disconnected just as he was about to sing but he was able to sort it out in time, when Peter had a drink Bobby was playing a sound affect of birds singing, during 'Let Love Pass' Bobby was taking some photographs of them. They dedicated 'Carrie Anne' to a Lady who was celebrating her 40th Birthday, when I arrived at Kilworth, I saw Ian Parker being shown a Rolls Royce, very nice all too soon the concert ended but I was so happy to of seen them again and I hope I don't have to wait long before I can see them again. |

What does Bobby do with all these photographs? Possibly the same as me - take 100 keep 5! The two or three I've seen are pretty good. |

I was in a record shop(sorry CD shop) the other day and there were books on the Beatles ,yes, but then a book on the Rolling Stones and a book on The Who but no HOLLIES' books I'm feed up with this. Can we not have "A Story So Far...." book, with loads of photos and info like how the lads felt about being at number one in the charts, or what they thought of certain songs and what and who their influences were.Even how they got their name, anything. |

I cant understand why they don't have any book on the hollies either I can see why Bobby hasn't done one yet he hasn't had much time to with all the touring but clarkey said on a show a few years ago he was going to release an autobiography but that hasn't happened I'm sure any hollies fan would have loved to have found out what he would have to say |

God an autobiography by Allan, that would be amazing.I'm sure he has the time to do it now that he's retired.Where and when did you hear Allan say this? Can you remember? |
