Hi everyone!

My Rickfors page has been updated after a great show on Saturday 29. September at Slussen, Sweden. There are two links to videos I recorded and uploaded to MySpace. See

http://home.online.no/~kskyberg/index.cfm

and go to the Rickfors page for more info.

An interview with Rickfors will also be posted soon. So far I can bring forward that he was amazed at the reissue of Romany. He had never heard the previously unreleased songs since they were recorded. I recommended the CD strongly to him. He was delighted that Hollies fans attended his shows. Göran and Agneta were also present, and this reminded me that we should have a new convention soon. Can we have one with time for singing and playing of Hollies songs, please?

Thanks very much for the clips, Knut. I'd love to attend a Rickfors concert. Looking forward to the interview!

Just like you all to know that I've written a review of the Rickfors show at Slussen recently, featuring Bus stop.

Thanks to Göran for valuable input, and thanks to Agneta for the set list and photo contribution!

The address is:

http://home.online.no/~kskyberg/rickforslive.cfm

I have included a link to the My Space official Rickfors site, that I for some reason did not manage to search into. The site features 3 unreleased songs. Thanks to Susan, who has a link on her fine My Space site!

Thanks, Knut. It sounds like a wonderful time was had by all at the Rickfors show and I really enjoyed reading your review. That impromptu rendition of "He Ain't Heavy" must have been incredible!

I was wondering if Mikael mentioned his rock band, Mobile Unit? The band consists of Mikael, Mats Ronander, Mats Lindfors and Leif Sundin. I've listened to some songs on their Myspace page; they sound great.

Thanks Snowflake for that info.

Ride with me is a Rickfors track as good as any solo or group work with the Hollies!

I would not hesitate a moment if I get the chance to hear a Mobile Unit show

I agree Knut..."Ride With Me" has a great feel to it. Not sure why, but I immediately thought of "Transatlantic Westbound Jet". Overall, a great sound for Mobile Unit.

Thanks for posting the Mobile Unit link, Knut. Yes, I think they have a really good sound. "Back to the Roots" reminds me of The Rolling Stones.

I totally agree that "Ride with me" is a very promising track!! Rickfors is king, again!

"Back to the roots" is a correct name on the music and for sure it´s Stones-inspired.

When I do a little research on Mobile Unit the group have been collaborating with Harley Davidson Sweden Ltd. At least that was the case in 2005. They were also recording a cd that should have been released in sept. 2005, named Rock and Road Music.

Maybe it´s time for a release now?

Thanks for the link, Knut!

Ride Withe Me is really good I think! Kickstart Your Broken Heart sounds just like Smokie sound now - could be a track on their last album "On The Wire"!
