I agree with you, Ro-Robert, BR music has held a high quality all the way, EMI should not worry about that. I also think that a DVD would just increase the interest for the new album.

I have placed my order for this DVD/cd. Trouble is the Hollies are always after perfect quality, that's why I feel we have no concert DVD's one album in over 20 years. With all the interest in this new DVD, what does that tell the powers to be, it's about time the band made an official DVD. I'm very happy to buy bootleg stuff.
It's all we have on offer when it comes to DVD's.

and go man go.

Roll on mid February, a Hollies DVD plus my birthday all in the same month,

The only thing we are missing is a clip of this newer Hollies line up, now that would have been great.

Geoff - Did you see the Fortunes promo video I offered up in the Elevated Observations section of the website? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts and comments. The Hollies should consider this approach in order to help market themselves.

Yes, and I do agree....both The Who and The Searchers have also done excellent "live" Compact Discs of concert recordings for sale to fans at their shows, and through their respective fan clubs a while back. The Hollies ought to consider this idea, and also doing a "live" concert DVD featuring the great new incarnation of the band.

Thanks for the ordering details An provided. I have ordered my copy from NL using that link. What I really look forward to, is getting Gasoline alley bred on an official DVD. This was previously only available on the Dutch Sony sampler DVD (reviewed in Record Collector) that I never managed to aquire.

Knut,

Is this a different Gasoline Alley Bred video to the Top Of The Pops one that circulates?

Hi Micheal,
I hope it's a different version to the Top of the pops one also, on the other hand if this copy does not have all the writing pop up that would be a bonus.

A clean version would be nice anyway. So far I've only seen the TOTP2 version on VHS.
