Having a message in the Outbox just refers to messages that you wrote that went out but weren't answered yet. It should go to the Sentbox when the recipient opens it.

A huge thanks to Keith for the DVD - it's gestures like this that make sites like this such a pleasure. Loved the other stuff on there, esp the guy who got the Hollies to sing in his back gardem - I've heard about this but never seen it. Very much appreciated.

I second that, I have noticed I had a message from Keith in my in box just before so I'm really looking forward to this DVD from the 69 special. I have also heard about the Hollies going to the fans house and singing, I have seen a photo from a past tour programme.
Thanks a million Keith, Hollies fans a just the greatest,
Anthony

Just watching it now, and even asa lifelong Hollies fan, that performance of Quit Your Lowdown Ways is amazing - Tony Hicks at that age, playing like that!

Funny - Dylan's version of I'll be Your Baby Tonight is the signal in our office on a Friday evening that it's time for the pub - wonder if I can replace it with our lads' version.

Great DVD.

Here's the instructions that Keith posted:

If you want me to send you a copy, I think it would be best for people to PM me. I'm away for the next week, and then will need to get some DVD mailers, so it may be a couple of weeks before I can send them out. Spartyscott has suggested that the best way to pay would be through paypal. My daughter has an account, so i will get her details for payment. I have quickly checked costs online and I think it should be around £3.00 to cover the costs to the US, but will confirm this by PM when people have sent in orders.

My copy has arrived today here in Germany. It is great. Nice material in brilliant quality. The Hollies are great during the BBC concert. I especially enjoyed the folky part of the set because there were songs that you don't see very often by The Hollies and the versions are great. I especially like "Quit Your Lowdown Ways".
I can't understand why the material is so rare. The Hollies don't need to hide. They are (and as I could see on the DVD were) a great live act.

Again, thanks for the DVD Very Happy

I got my copy today too.
I haven't watched all of it yet, but I loved the BBC concert! Finallly I got to hear "Maybe I'll Settle Down" again, and "A Taste Of Honey", songs I heard them sing in concert in the 60s.

And the man who had always loved the Hollies, and they came and played in his backyard as a surprise, that was really touching!

Thank you so much Keith!

I'm still "wishin' and hopin," as Dusty might have said, for my package to arrive.

Maybe it'll be here today.

Got it!

I watched the BBC4 show, and loved it. This is an outstanding program, and everyone should see it as I (finally) see the Sylvester/Calvert lineup in a more or less a full concert.

I have a question about the bonus material, though. Who's the lead singer with the, ahem, unusual hairstyle singing with Hicks and Coates? Was he a sort of "fill in" singer between the time Clarke retired and Wayne joined up? The guy certainly was an unlikely choice for the group, with his so un-Hollies haircut and, frankly, limited vocal range.
