Is Jimmy Smith still representing the Hollies? If so, is he in contact with other booking agents and concert promoters in the US? |

Hi Holliesfan
I think he is still representing them...
To find out who he's in contact, you should ask Rob... he seems to know most things that are going on...being at the hub of things |

While we are on the subject of Hollies management, a few years ago I wrote to Jimmy Smith and asked if there was a chance of a Hollies signed photo, some time later it arrived and I was so thrilled. It now hangs on the wall in the study. A few years earlier I wrote to one of the venues the Hollies were going to play and asked them to pass on a letter to the band, a few months later a signed photo arrived in the mail. One of them also wrote "To Anthony be good" hey they must know me well. This photo has Allan Clarke in the band so it's really very special.
Thanks to the management and the Hollies. |

Hi Holliesfan
I think that Jimmy Smith is still representing The Hollies because if you go to The Hollies website homepage and scroll down you with see an icon called Hollies Management, click on it and Jimmy's address and email address will appear on the screen. Hope that answers your question.

Hi Anthony,
you are a lucky guy, at snail-mail times I hardly got any answers, was then pleased to receive one when I asked about the Hollies gig in December 2002 over here in Germany (after Carl's operation). They said everything was alright, you could imagine my astonishment when then there was a bloke on lead vocals I`ve never seen before??? And promotion does not seem to be Jimmy Smith's favourite job - but pretty long relationship between the Hollies and Jimmy Smith, seems to work for both sides. |
