Hi every one. Sorry if this is old news. Just been looking on Amazon and noticed that the "Buddy Holly" CD is set for release, you can place pre orders for it now. Release date is the 17th of March and it is on the "Magic" label. It says it includes 16 tracks plus 1 bonus track Buddy Holly with the Hollies and Graham Nash. That would be I guess their recording of "Peggy Sue Got Married" hope this is helpful.
Cheers Ray |

Hi Ray, no it's not old news. I just discovered the same, and have pre-ordered it from Amazon.
The full track listing is on the Magic website, but you are right. |

It has been advertised on the news page of the site since Friday.
Another good job done by Magic Records |

Just ordered a copy via Amazon. I wonder what has happened to the 'Magic' treatment of 'A Crazy Steal'? To my ears, that's the one which could do with a sonic upgrading. |

I think it IS in the pipeline for a magic reissue of "A Crazy Steal" in due course....and possibly some "live" material too (not sure if this would be "Live Hits" from 1976,) whatever, more Magic reissues are planned for later on in the year so I understand. |

Hi,
I have all the Hollies albums on cd, I was lucky to get the two box sets of 4 cd's each. What I would love is for magic to bring out a cd with all it's bonus numbers. |

The only problem I have with Magic is that they never include tracks/versions that you cannot get elsewhere. But the sound quality is great. |

Yes, I'd agree Knut. However, the Romany reissue does not have as good sound as that of the disc which was part of the Four More Originals set. I too have both 4-disc sets, but the sound and packaging is better generally on the Magic reissues.

Key Mail Order have issued their third "Priority Information" sheet devoted to The Hollies, announcing the 9 April issue of the new compilation "Hollies Finest",(£5.99 + P & P), they say the set includes a booklet with rare photos and sleeve notes by Bobby Elliott, they also include the "Dutch Collection" CD/DVD set saying it has proved to be "very popular". |
