Hello Everybody

Just for fun I thought I'd check out the top 10 contributors to the forums after the first couple of months. So here are the results as at Feb 29, 2004 (EST). Number represents posts. (Our Scottish friends win by a mile) LOL!

Shells 97

Susie 66
Anthony 57
Hollies (Rob) 37
Peeji 29
Holliesfan 27
KathyGoGo 25
Sharon O. 9
Gina/Goran 8

There have been some passionate debates and I have been enjoying it.

Top ten gasbags, I can see a race at the top to reach 100 between the two Scots, and a few Aussies love to have a chat. Well we really have to expect Rob to be in the top ten, most of the time he is giving out Red Cards.

Thankyou Kathy for revealing who has been doing all the talking in this forum. Shows that we aren't afraid to say what's on our minds. Exclamation

Now let me see there are 3 Aussies, 2 English, 2 Scots, 2 Americans, 1 German and 1 swedish. I know that adds up to 11 but that's because Gina and Goran are equal 10th with 8 messages each. Razz

And Anthony some of us do sound like gasbags don't we Smile But who cares., I certainly don't. Rolling Eyes

All The Best

Susie

Gasbags Question Question Question Question Cheeky Anthony....

Like Susie says, we're not afraid to say what we think or of the flak we might get when we say it Laughing

Pray tell me WHY does it matter how many posts there have been... after all it's the talkers that keep the forum interesting... I LURVE a good debate Laughing

BUT Kathy, it's nice to know that I'm in the lead with SOMETHING... if it were a competition to win money, one thing's for sure.... I wouldn't be in the lead! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Hi Shells Exclamation

We have at least one thing in common. You say that Raymond says that you talk too much. Well my Dad and Brother say the same thing about me, but I don't care because if I have something to say I say it.

All The Best

Susie

good to have a forum and freedom of speech, and of course those who post often keep the forum running. Anyway, sometimes I`d prefer quality to quantity ...don`t want to offend anybody, it`s just my personal way to see it

Hi! It was pleasant to see the reply the very next day after my post Smile
I'm from Moscow, the very capital of our large country. I'm 21 and I study at Moscow State University. I love all the music of the 60's and I'm glad to find friends who love it too! I also enjoy reading and embroidering. Somehow I don't know a lot about Hollies' bio, but I'm working on it Wink And I LOVE their music, especially Bus Stop, I Thought Of You Last Night, Clown... well, it's impossible to mention all of them Wink There's a snowstorm in Moscow now, but Hollies' brave and cheerful music doesn't let the weather let me down Smile!
Well, I hope to hear from you soon!
Tanya Smile

Hi Tanya,
Welcome and I hope you have fun here, I think you are the first Russian Hollies fan I have heard of. I know that many UK fans are Russian to the stage door after each show to meet the lads. Sorry that was me trying to be funny. Do they have many of the Hollies cd's in your part of the world plus do you hear them on the radio. It's really great the have you here, shows how the internet brings us all together from all parts of the world,
Best wishes,
Anthony

hello my Australian friend! Smile
Unfortunately there are no many fans of the 60's in Russia, I even suspect I'm the only one (at least in my age group Wink); that's why sometimes I feel alone Sad. It isn't easy to get rare CDs here either. But I do my best to be able to listen to my favourite music, I've got about a hundred of tapes, I suppose Smile, and it looks really impressive Smile!
