Here you go folks, Jennifer Eccles taken from the show in Antwerp last year.

And before all the questions, yes, I am pushing to get a DVD of the whole show released.

Enjoy

Cool. There's also a video there showing highlights of various songs.

How do these things come about, Rob? Was it filmed by the festival for TV or by The Hollies for posterity?

Thanks for that clip, Rob! As a U.S. Hollies fan, this is probably the closest I'll get to seeing and hearing the current lineup (they sound great, by the way!)

The "Public demand" from all Hollies fans and general music lovers for such a release is a very big one indeed.

The compilation of clips is from the show but because of the very high video compression to reduce the size of the clip, the quality of the video is not that great.

The whole show, including all of the other bands, was recorded by the show people for the large screens.

Rob, how does the video/audio (mechanical, I mean, not the quality of the Hollies' performance) for this show compare the one that's still available on the Internet that was posted a few months ago?

Sparty

If you mean the Capital Gold video, the later clip quality is much better because it is only one song and does not have top be compressed too much.

That's the one I meant.

However, I wasn't necessarily referring to the quality of the computer files available to see over the Internet. I meant the quality of the recording, if it was produced by the pros for commercial DVD release.

The Capital Gold was professionally filmed by a 5-6 man camera crew using hand held Canon EX1's so the quality of the master film will be professional too.

For some reason I'm unable to view the Capital Gold concert. I've downloaded Windows Media Player and have Quicktime but still cannot view it. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks Rob, that video is great. I hope that you succeed in getting to whole concert released on DVD and I will be one of the first people in line to purchase it.

Best Wishes

Susie

Excellent work, Rob!
A live DVD from the present line-up would be exactly what we need, after the Dutch compilation.

Hi Rob,
That's great news. I sent an email saying I would like a copy.
So far it's been a great year for the fans with all these DVD's. It's what I have always wanted.
Many thanks,
Anthony
