I've got a copy of "The Hollies Souvenir Song Album" from 1967, with music and words to the songs on Would You Believe, plus Have You Ever Loved Somebody, Fifi The Flea, Too Many People and Put Yourself In My Place.
I bought it in 1970, and I remember trying hard to learn how to play the songs on our piano, but I only really managed to play Fifi The Flea.
It says in the fore-word that it's the first of the Hollies song books.
I was wondering if anyone else has got it, or any other Hollies song books?
The book has got a photo of the Hollies in blue colour on the cover, and top and bottom is yellow.
I would have put in a photo of the book, but I don't know how to. |

i have a song book called the best of the Hollies - isbn 086001-253-0 am 1727c .

But unfortunenally iam not musical ,but for me it was a item that i needed to buy thought somewhere in the late seventies as things to get from hollies where difficult so evrything you 'd see back then you wanted it .hardly to understand these days with internet and the easy way to get what is on the market.

Hi Rob!
Yes, that's the one. It looks nice, doesn't it?
Do you have other song books of that kind to show us?
Hi Bernard!
Your song book sounds interesting. I have never seen it. A song book is a nice thing to have. I would have bought mine even if I couldn't play a note, just for the lyrics and photos.

Thanks Rob!
Do you play?
If you would have a song book for sale on the Hollies' Merchandise page, I'd be happy to buy it. |

I would like to get my hands on some of these too. Working out chords by ear is a pain in the, er, ear for me.

The red and the yellow songbooks are still available in the UK from time to time. If I see them I will let you know. |

I bought one of them at a Carousel Hollies convention. |

Hi Rob and Everyone
I have the above songbook on the left with the blue cover and the word Hollies that I've had for about 25 years. It has individual photos of each of the guys (the 70's lineup) on the inside cover as well as words and music to some of their songs from the 60's and 70's.
Cheers, Susie |

This must be worth some money as the guys have all reverted to being left-handed! |

I own that one, courtesy of an Ebay purchase last year.
It's amazing that by 1970, the producer of that book would include stuff like Searchin' on a songbook. What was that publisher thinking? |
