There's a new Terry interview on Youtube. It's 8 mins long and deals with his early days, part two is promised and will deal with The Hollies. It's great to see this, as it's not often you see interviews with Hollies and ex- Hollies.

So, search for Terry on youtube.

Interesting interview! Looking forward to the next part!

Does anybody know if Terry sang lead with the Escorts or on any Swinging Blue Jeans number or did he write or co-write any of their numbers?

Yes, Terry was the lead singer of the Escorts.

And I don't think that the Swinging Blue Jeans weren't doing a lot of recording by the time Terry joined up, as they wree pretty much a covers band.

Thanks for the link, interesting stuff.

He could do a voice-double for Macca!

Thanks Michael for the link to the Terry interview, I enjoyed it. I didn't know much about him before his time with the Hollies so I found it very interesting. Now I'm looking forward to part two. It's a shame we don't have more interviews with the current Hollies! The only other one I know of is the one with Tony on Chatshow network from July 2001. And James, I know what you mean about Terry sounding like Macca!

Au contraire, SpartyScott. I have a Swinging Blue Jeans CD (Hippy Hippy Shake - The Definitive Collection) with about five or so Sylvester lead vocals or co-lead vocals, from 1966 on. As the title indicates, it also includes the early hits like "HHS" and "You're No Good". And curiously enough, a Sylvester-era song named "Sandy"... Laughing

Nice interview, Terry seems like a really nice guy, love hearing about his early days.
Looking forward to his thoughts on his Hollies years, my favourite Hollies line up.
Thanks for the link,
Anthony

Anthony, my twin...I have been assured by the person who originally sent me the link that Terry, in the interview, comes across very much the same way Terry normally does face to face in a non-interview situation when no camera is around. What ya see is what you get.

But then, Shari now knows far more than me about that!

Pull down the blind in your cable car.

I watched Terry's interview and loved it, can't wait for part 2 if there is one. Terry is still a good looking guy after these years. Very Happy Very Happy

They should do the same thing with other ex Hollies such as Allan (Clarke), Graham and Bernie, I'm sure they all have a story or 2 about their time with the band. Smile Smile
