Ladies and Gents,
I was reading through the previous topic in this forum, the one posted by SpartyScott about the new magic records CD release.

In the various posts, it touched on the unreleased material that the Hollies have recorded at some time or another.

Reaching for one of my tour books, I managed to compile (well, semi-plagiarise!) a list of the unreleased material - by unreleased, my definition would be a complete take.

A lot of it has been rectified by the release of Rarities/Anniversary Collection/Abbey Road (1-3)/Long Road Home/Bootlegs(ahem).
The list should be reasonably accurate - you won't find songs like Hillsborough here as they were released in another country (e.g. B side in Germany in this case)
Numbers in brackets indicate the number of times it was unreleased.

Am I the only person here who is wondering what "Bobby's Prologue" is?!

Cheers,
Chirpy

Well done that man! Very Happy

I agree, that lot would be nice on a 2CD set!

There's also apparently a US version of 'Curly Billy' which is supposed to be longer - sure I read that somewhere...

I think that I have a 45 RPM of "Curly Billy" on the Epic label packed away somewhere. I'll try to remember to dig it out of the storage box and check its length.

I am pretty sure that the LP version of the song in the US & UK (on the Hollies 74 album) is the same.

Chirpy - 'Bobby's Prologue' is simply Bobby Elliott reciting some poetry he wrote. I believe it is just him - no Hollies musical backing whatsoever.
Cheers
