I've noticed a few highly-dubious names of late in the 'newest member' section and looked at the profiles - apparently spammers. It's a sad indication of what the e-world has become that this is so commonplace. The Manfreds messageboard has been shut for a few weeks, it regularly suffered from the actions of these idiots. |

Hi James
I noticed all the funny sounding names on the newest member section too but never gave it another thought I just thought it was people being imaginative in using a nick-name or something.
It's a shame that The Manfred's message board shut down you only need 1 or 2 dim witted idiots to spoil it for everyone else.

I get at least one of these a day.
Anyone can register but until they have been authorised by me they cannot post.
Their name will show as the newest member until I actually delete the profile.
That is why the newest member often reverts back to a previous name
I believe that computer geeks are paid to trawl websites to manually register on forums in order to advertise other sites, usually sex or gambling orientated. |

I noticed these people, and stupidly after looking at their profiles clicked on their links, but once I found I was just visiting their rubbish oops sorry, once I realised I wasn't interested in whatever they were selling etc. I haven't bothered looking at them again. I always thought they were here for the day promoting their sites, and then unregistered, I didn't realise it was you deleting their profile Rob. |
