"Suspended Animation" is the new promo single, to be released April 24. That is all I know. Anybody know anything else about it?

No but thanks for telling us. Where did you get this info from?

Fantastic news. I'm glad it's Suspended Animation as well, listening to it right now.

I hope I can easily buy it from the shops.

Has anyone heard anymore since Denis's last post?
I also like suspended animation and hope Prove Me Wrong would be a bonus track.
I also like Emotions!

If the single has a previously unreleased b-side (it's funny that I still call them that, even though there are no "sides" on compact discs!), then I'll snap it up.

But if the release is only one song, or its b-side is just another track from the Staying Power disc which I already have, then I'll give it a pass.

Maybe they could have a double sided cd, they have those type of things on DVD's.
We are getting old, the EP's were also fun, 4 songs on one 45. these days that's almost an album.
bye,
Anthony

Are there any votes for "Break Me" or "Live It Up"? I think they are both fresh sounding and extremely contemporary.

I agree, they are both grrreat!!!!
I can honestly say that I think all the new album tracks are great.
I know it is not the old stuff, but a new modern sounding fresher Hollies and in this day and age it is very admirable to see!!

I agree three!

And I can't stop listening to the album at the moment, I think I am getting withdrawal symptoms, I am itching to go to another concert.

Don't count on it. The trend these days, with long-established artists, is a promo-only single for radio play, with no commercial release, so the public is forced to buy the full-length CD, for a greater profit for the record company.

After speaking to someone from the EMI press office, she has confirmed that it is for radio play at the moment, and if it goes down well on radio (if people request it) then it will be released, but no confirmed date for release yet, they are seeing how it goes first.

'Break Me' would be an ideal single
