The Hollies 'Staying Power' (EMI) .....
"Did you know that the Hollies had more hits during the '60s and '70s than any other British group? That's terrifying. But not as terrifying as the bloated, polished AOR on this record. Makes Michael Bolton look like Nine Inch Nails."

The Hollies have gotten mostly bad reviews for their music since the '60s. No surprise. I like what I like and I don't give a damn what somebody else thinks. It was most likely written by someone who grew up thinking Rap, Hip-Hop, and Punk were good. |

There are some people in this world who wouldn't know talent and good music if it came up and bit them. Like you Dennis I don't give a damn what other people think of my likes (or dislikes) either.

Thankyou for the common sense compliment Carol7cat. Anyway I was only stating a fact in my previous post.
To stay on topic, Staying Power is a fantastic album and all 12 songs are great too. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
