This week I have downloaded 2 of the tracks from the new album "Staying Power". "Hope" and "So Damn Beautiful" sound great. Very Happy

I can't wait to hear more Smile

A good price but buying from here will not affect any charts.

Amazon or HMV are the sites that will give the album a chance.

Also the most expensive! (No quips about thrifty Scotsmen, please!) Laughing

Does buying from a supermarket not get it included in the charts too? Dontya just love a chart CD for £9.97? Laughing

Ordered mine from play.com on 17th Jan - price was 12.99. Just checked and it is being packed, and it looks as though they have only charged 8.95. Could it arrive before Monday?

KP You could be lucky. Keep your fingers crossed.

Anyone on the forum who gets a copy before Monday, please let us know.

That doesn't iunclude me, I have one. Laughing

I also know that the demand has been quite high and EMI have increased production.

Let's "Hope" it does well.

Rob - Are you referring to "So Damn Beautiful" the single or "Staying Power" the album?

Holliesfan - this thread is about "Staying Power" and it is well documented now that "SDB" is not being released on CD.

The race is certainly on.

I have ordered mine from amazon, estimated delivery date 23-25 Feb.

Also put by a copy in my local HMV, at £13.99, which I would get on Monday morning.

Amazon have in the past sent items out that people have received before the release date, that's a bit late for me now though.

Incidently, depending on where you live and you are buying it from your local store, check to see if they will have it in and how many copies they will have.

My local Woolworths say they won't be getting it in. My local HMV are only getting 4 copies in as 'they have only ordered 4 copies because there are not many Hollies fans in Stratford'.

HMV in Covent Garden are getting 8 copies in on Monday and 8 copies on Tuesday.

Shelley Very Happy

Staying Power is now at no 320 in the Amazon.co.uk sales ranks. Quite doing well, I´d say. Let´s see how it does chartwise when it is released tomorrow.

BTW the German amazon site has previews of the songs on its side. If someone needs a taster to make up his/her mind about buying, here goes...
