| Living in New Jersey doesn't afford me the opportunity to hear any new music from the Hollies, especially off the new album "Staying Power". However, this morning I tuned into(via the internet) Capital Gold Radio. Not only did I get to hear the Tony Hick's interview, but also complete versions of "So Damn Beautiful" and "Prove Me Wrong". I thought both were excellent. I already had the 2 song CD sampler and it was extra nice to hear two more new tracks from the album. In my humble opinion, "So Damn Beautiful" is a superb choice for the new single. It's very melodic, has great harmonies and a very nice lead vocal by Peter. Of course Tony's guitar work is awesome throughout. I personally have high hopes for this single. |
