The Hollies will be recording a live show on Tuesday 31st January at 7.00pm at the Cafe de Paris, London. This is a promotion organised by EMI and Capital Gold to which media people will be invited to see the band.
Will a review of this event be posted on the website? |

I have just got this email from Capital Gold in reply to an email I sent them asking when the Cafe de Paris show will be on their site: 
Thanks for your feedback,
Yes the show will be online soon. Unfortunately we don't own the rights to
the show (The Hollies do) so we can't release it on DVD. However once the
show goes online you'll be able to view it for as long as you like.

Since the Hollies own the rights to the show, is there any logical reason why they wouldn't want a DVD made from it? It could lead to increased marketability and, in conjunction with the forthcoming album, help to boost sales for the band. |
