EVOLUTION
BUTTERFLY

Favourite Compilation

Abbey Road 1966 - 1970

One of my very favourites is a b-side:

Hello Lady Goodbye,
and Gasoline Alley Bread is a great song!

From the LPs, as with so many good selfwritten songs:
Confession Of The Mind!

(and in case you would like to know a dislike: Jennifer Eccles!)

Hi Chirpy,
I also love the Live 76 album and any live stuff by the Hollies.
As Kathy and you say the songs we pick change all the time, lots depend on our mood at the time. I tend to like the faster songs.

Hi Susie...

Are you psychic?

You've put your list of faves and they are identical to mine... I have to say that Bus Stop is Raymond and my song! It was on the go when we met and remains kinda special to us..... he sings it to me.... mind you his voice is nothing on Allan Clarke's though! Laughing

Hi Shells Exclamation

Isn't that a coincidence, we both have the same favourite songs. Bus Stop is another favourite of mine, it just doesn't come into my top 5.

All The Best

Susie

Hi Susie

It's a coincidence right enough!

When you look back and go through ever single they ever recorded it's soo difficult to make a list of faves cos they made so many great songs. Bus Stop was the latest hit, when I was going out with Raymond and I think that's why it's special to us... If you think about it, I am willing to bet that there is at least one song that is special for you other than a favourite.

Too Young To Be Married is brilliant and Tony's solo guitar in the middle is excellent. I like the fact that it's a live performance too. The Air That I Breath & He Ain't Heavy are just amazing songs and the words are soo special.....

I could go on for hours here but if I did you'd never get a word in.... I'm watching over my shoulder for a yellow card here! Laughing No offence Rob

Catchya later

Here are my fave Hollies songs...in no particular order. These tracks never fail to lift my spirits when I hear them. Each of them offers their own great melody, lyrics, and music. I'm sure given time, I could come up with many others but these immediately come to mind. Hope you enjoy them as well.

Lonely Hobo Lullabye
When Your Lights Turned On
You Need Love
Mad Professor Blythe
Layin To the Music
Give Me Time
When Laughter Turns to Tears
Let Her Go Down
