Last saturday I went to the Chris Norman concert in Koblenz. It was the best concert I've ever seen (I haven't seen the Hollies live so don't hate me for that). He was so great, he is one of the best singers ever, he hit every single note the whole concert through! The band was also great, especially the drummer and the Lead guitar player. Apart from some Smokie Hits, like Lay Back In The Arms Of Someone, Living Next Door To Alice, I'll Meet You At Midnight and some others he played lots of new stuff, 9 songs from his new album Break Away and also some other songs from his solo career. And he covered Summer Of '69, My Sharona, With A Little Help From My Friends and Led Zeppelins Rock'n'Roll (!!!). In my opinion he done them all better than the original versions! He concentrated more on the rocking side and played lots of hard rocking songs with some ballads and Pop/Rock songs thrown in.

Hi Distantlight Exclamation

I'm pleased you had a great time at the concert (you lucky thing). I'm probably hoping too much (again) but it would be wonderful if Chris Norman came to Australia. The last time I saw him in concert was when he came downunder with Smokie in 1979. Smile

All The Best

Susie

When I read somewhere that he comes to Australia I will tell you, but I'm afraid he won't do so because most of the time he tours in Germany. But he has three dates in the USA so maybe you have luck...
