I went to the show at Nottingham on Saturday - brilliant show, the new members fitted in as if they'd always been there. Peter in particular has a great stage presence, and as someone else said, a few nice surprises.
However, I wanted to give a word of praise to the tour booklet. Most programmes these days seem to be at least £10, with very little info in them. Last month I went to see Bryan Adams. Okay the booklet was only £5, but it was still a let down with 20 pages, but basically just photos.
Compare this with £8 for the Hollies - 36 pages, full of information about each group member, a tribute to Carl, an updated "family tree", and cuttings in a scrap book section. I still haven't had time to read it all, but it is certainly great value.
So, whoever was responsible for the booklet - well done! |

Hi KP
Mum bought the book as well and I agree it is full of info and had some great photos. I think it is better that the 2003 tourbook.

Hi Rob
I was going to ask about the 2004 Tourbook too but Anthony beat me to the punch. Anyway Rob, are there any 2004 Tourbooks Left. I already have the book but when I showed it to my best friend she loved it so I was thinking about trying to get another copy and giving it to her for her birthday in July.
Best wishes

Hi Susie,
I just got my tour programme from Rob and it's brilliant, one thing the group really knows how to do is these tour books. It has a scrap book section, some great reading, even stuff from Australia. I read that the Zoot were a support band for their Adelaide show one year, you learn something new every day.
Look forward to the next programme, hope it has world tour dates at the back.
Bye or should that be buy,
Anthony |
