Hi Martin,
Great to see you joined up, look forward to all your posts.
I have been a fan for about thirty years, only seen the band on their Aussie trips, thats 5 times so I think I've been lucky.
Bye,
Anthony |

Hi Martin
Welcome to the forum The Hollies were the first band I took an interest in, in my pre-teens 36 years ago. I have seen them 3 times (1976, 1987 and 2001) and next month when I see them in Stoke-On-Trent it will be number 4 and I can't wait.
Also, I hope to see many more posts from you.
All The Best
Susie

Why do people think I carry a big wooden stick
Unfortunately I don't, so it will have to be my even bigger metal crutch that I am using to hobble about on at the moment.
That is if I can't get rid of the damn things by the start of the tour. |

Martin,
You make Rob sound like the headmaster at the local school.
Rob,
Skiing accident or similar while on holiday?
As Teddy Roosevelt didn't quite say - "Speak softly and carry a big crutch." |

Unfortunately, nothing as exciting as skiing or a holiday of any sort.
After a three week course of injection treatments to my knees, they both reacted badly, swelled to incredible sizes and seized.
Back on the road to recovery now although it may all end in surgery early in the new year.
I can still pack a punch though. |
