I think I read or heard someplace that the two guys in the clip wrote the song. I could be wrong, hey it wouldn't be the first time.

Which clip are you talking about? Is it the one with the jukebox?

Does the clip have a jukebox in it? or is there a large brick wall that a cat crashes through?

The clip that is circulating online is a show called "Hit Parade" or Scuvlunca Box?? Allan has a big lump of bling bling on his jacket, while Tony is dressed in a Terry Sylvester gold and black tiger- patterned thing.

On drums and guitar/vocals are two other guys. Are these the Germans who wrote the song? The background is black wall covered in little lights.

I think it's a nice song, I like the other guys vocal and Hick's guitar but it seems silly now that I know it is about a cat. They could have given the joke away a little more subtly than, "My baby's a cat".

I guess, Rob, you have multiple versions of it in your Hollies video collection? Wink

Hi Flavio,

the guy with the long blond hair who sings the part „See how she runs…“ is called Holger-Julian Copp, one of the three credited for the song (Copp/Harders/Appleyard). As far as I know he composed it for the Whiskas cat food commercial, he had been successful before with a commercial called “Ice In The Sunshine”. Don`t have any notion who the guy on drums might be...Question
Greetings

I love pussycats. That was the best bit of the video. (Apart from the song of course) I used to have a cat and she loved whiskas.

I have three video clips without Bobby,
Baby come back
Little Lover
Nows the time

Baby come back was very strange seeing two non Hollies in the band, I love the song, think it would go well on stage these days.

Gina, your are quite right with Holger Julian Copp. The drummer was a stand in session musician because Bobby Elliott could not make the trip to Germany.

I have just received the following message from a friend in Germany;

"It's the drummer from a well known and succesfull German band called "Münchner Freiheit"

The group was in the same show as The Hollies"

Hope this helps.
