Hi,

I came across this link, which I haven't noticed on this site yet, but I am new to the site and though I'm working on it, I haven't read everything that's on here yet, so forgive me if you already have it, as it isn't recent.

I was moved to get involved with a forum on hearing musicologist Rob Bowman's talk about the uniqueness of the Hollies' harmonies. ( This was in Reelin' in the Years Panel discussion- I saw it on youtube, but it's not included on the DVD LTAW.) I wrote to ask Rob if he could go into this any further-he kindly wrote back with a clue (where in the register of the different voices the root, third, fifth and sometimes the flat seventh were placed), so I'd be interested to know if any of the harmonies appear in the sheet music, or if anyone has studied them. Thank you!
