| I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Carl Wayne. My condolences to his family and friends. I did not know that he was ill, which makes even more remarkable his exceptional professionalism. While reading through some of the messages, it makes me realize how fortunate we Hollies fans are, in that we have such a deep felt feeling of family with this group. It seems that since 1973 (my first Hollies concert) not much has changed. We still fondly remember Bernie Calvert, because we appreciate the talents he displayed on stage and on vinyl. Likewise, we now have another era to appreciate, although sad in the short time we had. Not only do the boys all live in harmony, we do as well. I am glad I truly know the Hollies and their fans. Thank you for all that you do. |
