Hi there everyone, my name is christina and i am a new person on the forum. I watched The Hollies in June on the Isle of Man, when Carl wayne was the singer (Rest in Peace) and they were absolutely absolutely wonderful! They are coming over again in about 4 weeks and i really cant wait! Although to me it certainly wont be the same without Carl! But i am delighted that they are still coming over !

Anyway, to get onto my Subject matter; Does anyone know from which album the song "Stepping Out" (Carl Wayne) was from and what year? I have a recording of the song and i love it to bits.

It's from a tribute album for Jeff Lynne of ELO and Travelling Wilburies fame, called 'Lynne Me Your Ears'. The original version, sung by Jeff, appeared on ELO's 1977 album, Out Of The Blue. LMYE was released a couple of years ago (I think!). Hope this helps. Laughing
