Apologies - correct Amazon link above. The previous link was just to the Evermore single.
Enjoy

On Tuesday we went to see the Scottish band "Runrig" and needed to listen to something calmer on the way home! I just happened to have a brand new CD with me - thank you Peter, this album is SO good! I hope Peter gets to sing his version of Jennifer Eccles on tour with the Hollies. (by the way, when reprints of the leaflet which comes with the CD are ordered Alan Clark should be changed to Allan Clarke)
Some time ago Peter said that the song "Priceless" which he wrote with Bobby may be on his album (it isn't) or he may be recording it with the Hollies - dare we hope........ |

Hi Emily
You are right - Priceless isn't on the album, but if you are lucky enough to get to see Peter in his solo unplugged tour, he does sing a solo version of this song. Its fab!
Here's hoping the Hollies or Peter records this song at some point

Thanks for the info - just ordered my copy !
I have Steve Lauri's solo album 'At Last' which was excellent so it's great to see Peter Howarth too releasing a solo album...!
I hope the Peter & Bobby song 'Priceless' IS recorded by The Hollies and with Bobby, Peter, Steve, & Ray all songwriters....I believe Ian too composes, plus Tony Hicks hopefully penning songs again soon (?) I would love to see another all 'original' Hollies studio album as back in the halcyon days of albums such as ;
'For Certain Because...', 'Hollies Sing Hollies', 'Out On The Road', 'Write On' etc...
Original Hollies albums were very special...and the band certainly HAS a strong set of songwriters in it's ranks today, as it always previously had...
meantime, nice to see a Hollies frontman / lead vocalist following in a famous tradition of releasing solo albums too.. |

I agree with Gee about Steve's solo album 'At Last' which I bought at one of his solo performances in Chatham last week (and it was lovely to meet Steve too, thanks Catherine!). I've heard some of Peter's Evermore songs on his recent radio performances and they sound great too.
It seems to me that the individual songwriting is a way of becoming more widely recognised and credited as performers with an individual style as distinct from the Hollies while finding a bit of time to write and record is an achievement in a busy schedule.
With some of the band doing other performances and more dates coming up in Scandinavia and the UK this year and next it's hard to imagine quite when the Hollies could find the time to record new songs (such as Priceless perhaps) anytime soon. Maybe some day though! |

Hi Sarah. Lovely to meet you on Saturday. Wasn't it a brilliant evening? So glad you like Steve's CD - I bought it when it first came out and I still love it. Really looking forward to Steve's new CD: the tracks I've heard are great. Hope to meet up with you again. Catherine |

Hi Catherine, yes the evening was really fun. Hope the opportunity comes up again sometime and Steve gets his new album finished this year! x |

I have been listening to ‘Evermore’ a few times and I think is a great album
(even I am not a big fan of religion songs) |
