Hi Bruce,
Okay now it's 41 years and every member has played his part.
The Hollies already do an acoustic section in the show, maybe they should have more of a play with some other people's songs like they did with Please Please me in the 90's. I think they need to update a bit more, let the hair down a little. |

That Romany album sounds like a good one, I will have to see if I can get a copy (from Redeye). I have always liked Magic Woman Touch since it came out in 1972 and at first I didn't like The Baby very much but I have it on a couple of compilations (including the 6CD set) and after really listening to it a few times it is starting to grow on me.
All The Best

Oh Yes I forgot, Thankyou Distantlight for your info on Bobby and I like your idea about a reunion of every guy who was ever in The Hollies but I can't see that ever happening but if it does I would love to be there to see it.
All The Best

You can't go wrong with Romany. Apart from Distant Light there is no better Hollies album (in my opinion) |

I'm quite content for the Hollies to carry on with the present length of acoustic songs in their set, it would be just nice to hear them get away from the usual songs and include neglected stuff, there are a number of tracks both from Hollies albums and Carl's days with the Move which could sound great given a acoustic treatment, what about Magic Woman Touch , Beautiful Daughter, Don't let me down ,etc? |
