I heard a radio interview earlier today with Peter Hooton of The Farm, speaking about the charity single. Apparently he was arguing for the re-release of The Hollies version of Heavy, as he said "it is such a classic" |

Good on him, Dawn. I thought exactly the same thing when I heard it played at that emotional Everton match. |

Released today, 17th December.
Have you got your copy yet. Let's help to make this song the Christmas Number One in the charts.
I know it's not The Hollies but it is "Their" Song and the exposure can only be good.
Get It Here |

Hello Barb, I bought the CD yesterday and I found a mention of Tony and Bobby inside the sleeve under "Vocals by" ... I was amazed! as usually they get forgotten. |

I bought the cd this morning from HMV- Sir P. gets his name printed 3 times but no namecheck for Bobby and Tony! Why are there different versions of the sleeve?
I've just ordered another copy from Amazon so I hope this one will be a cd I want to keep!
Ps Happy Christmas to the Hollies, all their families and all their fans! |

That's very strange Emily, and Sir P only mentioned once on my copy. Why are there different sleeves?? I hope the Amazon copy has got Tony's and Bobby's names on it for you, let us know! I keep checking mine to make sure I'm not seeing things!! |

After 5 days Heavy has a 15% lead on the X-factor winner. This means the lead has been increasing, but this is still quite nerve wrecking.
Heavy is no 2 on the iTunes chart. |

I heard the song for the first time last night on TOTP2 and I thought they did a good job of it. Even though of course I will always prefer The Hollies version, I'm glad it is now no.1 as it is for such a worthy cause. It was a surprise (but a nice one) to see Tony and Bobby in the video. |

It's no 1 on Norwegian iTunes too! What a day! |
