Great! Can't wait! I hope for some of the songs they never recorded otherwise.

Sounds good, I have got The Beatles at the BBC album and those sessions were recorded well so The Hollies should be great aswell.

There were some Hollies BBC tracks recorded in the late 1960's, where the group recorded the session at Abbey Road Studios, then delivered a tape to The BBC, and these tracks are not included in the collection.

These Abbey Road for BBC sessions were listed in the original Hollies sessionography(printed in three consecutive issues of "Record Collector" magazine in the 1980's), but omitted from the sessionography printed in the book with "The Long Road Home" box set.

Perhaps these tracks(obviously owned by The Hollies) could be released on some future CD.

If the track list is not changed we get as far as I can see Ride your pony and Shake for the first time. Can anyone correct me?

It would be nice if there were more than 2 for the first time songs as I'm sure they must have others as Phil Cohen has pointed out. One song I wonder about that they were doing in concerts at the time was Besame Mucho. Is there any recorded version of this song?

Bad news for Hollies fans: EMI has imposed a two month postponement on "Radio Fun"......until the 7th of July.

Phil

Not sure where you got your information from but it is not correct. EMI have not imposed any such postponement. The date is definitely 7th May.

Today is the start of promoting the CD. See Johns link above and the one you should get in an email shortly.

For a preview or to enter into a competition........
