Thanks to Barry, on another thread, it has come to light that The Hollies will be doing a 50th Anniversary Tour next year, 2012! Hooray!
So far, we have found they will be appearing at The Sage in Gateshead on 14th April, Usher Hall in Edinburgh on 21st April
and The Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow on 22nd April.
If anyone hears of any other dates, let us know please! |

This would be a FAB time to bring the band the US. I'm sure a lot of America's Hollies fans would love to join on the historic celebration. |

I was thinking along those lines, wondering if they might go to the US and/or Oz for their 50th celebrations - I certainly hope they do for all you fans in both places. I'll keep my fingers crossed! I'm also wondering when we will get to hear about this tour officially. I think Rob mentioned he's away until the beginning of August, so I guess we'll have to wait until at least then. When I think how like 'getting blood from a stone' it was for me to get tickets from theatres for this autumn tour, it's great that theatres are already selling tickets for next Spring. |

Well spotted An! And very interesting for fans in other countries as it says "visiting South Africa on their World tour" I can't imagine they would just do the UK and SA and call it a world tour, would they? |

To my knowledge they are very popular here in Norway, both shows in September are nearly sold out already, 10 weeks ahead.
Don't be surprised if they return to Scandinavia in 2012. |

Thanks Knut, I'm hoping then that something will appear for the Fairfield Halls in Croydon soon, fairly close to the 6th March, as it's not too far away from Dartford. (Nothing mentioned about half an hour ago!) |

Hi Rob, could you confirm which date is correct please? The Orchard Theatre website have both 6th and 7th March listed for The Hollies (unless they're doing 2 nights there?)
PS Thanks for posting the T-shirts. |

Just seems to be strange talking about the 2012 tour when this years still has not started. I hope the Hollies do something special for their 50th anniversary, by that I don't mean another greatest hits cd, now a greatest hits DVD would be another matter.
Looking forward to catching the Hollies a little later this year. |
