Thanks for adding the information about the dates in Germany etc. I see they will be meeting up with one of their songwriters on 13th June - Graham Gouldman of 10cc!

For all Hollies fans in Scotland, I've found some more 2012 dates - 21st April for Usher Hall, Edinburgh and 22nd April at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow !

I suggest you put all this info about 2012 under a new topic, Dawn! This is really very good news for all of us. Think of us really dedicated fans being able to take part in such a big 50 years celebration tour for the Hollies!

Hi Knut, yes, I thought about that, but then I decided it wasn't my place to make such an announcement... But you've convinced me.

Looks like I'm a year early with my trip to the UK, very interesting that next year is the 50th anniversary of the Hollies, I thought it was 2013.
Looking forward to my trip this year, will follow their 50th on line.

Yes, I thought 2013 would be the 50th, but looking at the family tree, The Hollies first came into being in 1962. Their first single release was in 1963, which is what I was probably thinking of.

Remember the Hollies were named after the bush holly and or Buddy Holly before Christmas 1962. Tony joined when Vic left, anyone who knows the date?
