Chicago is currently touring Australia with America, Peter Frampton and Brian Wilson. All played at the Wollongong, NSW Entertainment Centre on the 29th Oct, 2010. This was a concert that lasted over five and a quarter hours. Chicago was the highlight for me. It was a dynamic performance and the members played enthusiastically and the sound was fine. Three substitute players were there instead of Walter Parazaider on sax. Tris Imboden on drums and Keith Howland and they stepped in and played magnificently. I wonder who they were. America were also impressive. Brian Wilson is not a performer as such but no-one can doubt his songwriting ability. His supporting players held it together. Peter Frampton was good also but to mind his guitar solos were a little overblown. However, his hit songs went down a treat. But Chicago stole the show.
