I just found out The Hollies will be part of The Golden Years 2010 on saterday the 11th december in the Sportpaleis of Antwerp.
They replace The Troggs because Reg Presley has health problems.

Good to see The Hollies back in Belgium again Smile

Looks like I'll be back in Belgium then, An!!

I only got the Golden Years brochure the other day and it looked a great line-up. It will be even better now!

Last saterday I went to The Golden Years with my husband and children (24 and 22) to see The Hollies and others. We all agreed The Hollies were top and did a professional (little) show. They received lots of applause. After they sang The air lots of people were shouting for more… an idea for a full concert in Belgium?
They sang Here I go again, Jennifer Eccles, Bus stop, Sorry Suzanne, Carry Anne, He ain’t heavy, The air and Let love pass. I recorded the last song and posted it on Youtube.

It was funny to see Peter Howarth laying on the stage floor for a photo shoot.
Ian Parker was touring in Germany with Moya Brennam and was replaced by another keyboard player. I sounded a little different but he did a very good job!

They told us the all show was recorded for radio and tv.

Press photographers were invited to take photos in front of the stage.
You can see a selection of them :

Thanks An for letting us know how the show went on Saturday. It's a shame they could only perform a few songs. Thanks also for the Let Love Pass clip. What was Peter doing at the end! It didn't look like he was having his photo taken! Laughing
