This goes out to all you Hollies fans with big bank accounts or those that are on the verge of inheriting large sums of money. This morning I spoke with a woman who works for the event planning company handling the March 2010 RRHOF induction ceremony. She told me that individual tickets start at $2,000 USD!!! Guess I'll be watching it on someone's television..... |

Oh come on Lou - You and me could get that sort of money together - I could hum it and you could play it |

yes indeed Carole baby, but if I had 2 G's I Would Fly to
England, where I could maybe even catch the band more than once.
Now that'd rock a lot more than 2g's per seat not to mention that
annoying sound of constantly rattling jewelery
if it's true.
I say we walk in backwards, and security will think we're leaving. |

At long last the RRHOF have rewarded The Hollies, its a shame that its taken so long!!! All members of the band past and present that have made their contribution to the sounds Hollies fans love should be applauded long and loud. Whenever a key member has left their place has been taken by someone who has enabled The Hollies to continue wowing audiences right upo to the present day. The biggest thanks though must go to Bobby and Tony for having the strength and foresight to carry on when some would have thrown in the towel. The Hollies have always kept going to the same high standards and never jumped on any revival bandwaggon (unlike some) their longevity and their ability to change and adapt whilst never losing their root cause deserves recognition also.
Happy new year to all the Lads and fans
from Paul |
