Great photos Rob, just looked in the image gallery and saw a batch from this year, just a quick question, who is the guy with them in the group photo?

Hi all,

I am a fairly recent fan in terms of The Hollies history, but had the good fortune to be at both Fairfield Halls, Croydon & The Anvil, Basingstoke. Both nights were truely fantastic. I was blown away!! I'm now playing the new album non stop - in danger of wearing it out! Many thanks to the guys for making me smile.

I was at the Lowry, Salford Quays, together with my husband, and I really enjoyed myself, both at the concert, and sightseeing in Manchester and Liverpool.

Thanks to the Hollies for a great concert!

And thanks for the review, Carole! It was so lovely to meet you, Kat, An and Martin!

All the best to all of you!

Agneta

The concert at the Lowry was really great. The Hollies were in good form. Their sound was brilliant in combination with a superb lightshow in an impressive theatre !

It was also a great pleasure to meet and have nice talks to some of you before and/or after the concert (also with the ones with the icecream Smile ).

Besides the concert my husband and I enjoyed our stay in Salford and had a good time in Manchester and Liverpool, just like Agneta and her husband.

We visited the exhibition 'Quiffs, Riffs, Tiffs - the story of popular music in Salford 1950 to today' in the Salford Museum, with a lot of attention for The Hollies with Allan and Graham back in the sixties (both grew up in Salford), small but interesting ! (until 25 october 2009)http://www.visitsalford.info/whattosee/music/musicmap/qrtexhibition.htm

Kind regards and special thanks to The Hollies.

An

I agree the Lowry concert was brilliant, it was lovely to hear banter between Tony and the audience aswell. I especially loved the guitar sitar solo from The Baby and the Medley of Gasoline Alley Bred, Listen To Me and Hey Willy Smile It was great meeting you An, Carole, Martin, and Agneta. By the way An, I'm very interested in going to that exhibition now, I've not seen it advertised before.

It was a wonderful night Kat. So great to meet yourself, Agneta And An for the first time. The Lowry is an amazing concert venue and the acoustics in The Lyric Theatre are a joy. I love our Hollie Community which grows in volumes at every gig. Such Special Times !!!
