Hi!
My daughter told me that the Swedish group Sugarplum Fairy has recorded Bus Stop as the last track on their new cd, The Wild One.
On YouTube I only found a medley, where you can hear the last bars of Bus Stop at the end of the clip. Here it is:

I quite like the sound of this group. |

Interesting, Agneta! Sugarplum Fairy is at this moment no. 10 on the german tracklist SWR3. Guess with what? With the single Bus stop, of course!!
You can hear a sample of their recordings on www.sugarplumfairy.nu But no Bus stop. Maybe we´ll have to by the cd, it sounds very promising, endeed! |

Bus Stop is played very often by german radio stations. It's very near the original by the Hollies. Yesterday a radio moderator said: "If the hollies would record Bus Stop today it would sound like the version of the Sugarplum Fairy." |

If the Hollies would like to get some more chart hits it might be an idea to re-record some of their earlier hits... I´m sure The air that I breathe would be a great hit once again. Or why not Very last day (in these days). C´mon boys!! |

I had a listen to it on the amazon page (just look up the band and the new album) and I quite like the sound! A very good cover of a great Hollies song!! |

This is a very decent version by those talented Swedish youngsters! |

Thanks for the link!
I think it's a good version too, not so very different from the Hollies. |
