Hi!

My daughter told me that the Swedish group Sugarplum Fairy has recorded Bus Stop as the last track on their new cd, The Wild One.

On YouTube I only found a medley, where you can hear the last bars of Bus Stop at the end of the clip. Here it is:

I quite like the sound of this group.

Interesting, Agneta! Sugarplum Fairy is at this moment no. 10 on the german tracklist SWR3. Guess with what? With the single Bus stop, of course!!

You can hear a sample of their recordings on www.sugarplumfairy.nu But no Bus stop. Maybe we´ll have to by the cd, it sounds very promising, endeed!

Bus Stop is played very often by german radio stations. It's very near the original by the Hollies. Yesterday a radio moderator said: "If the hollies would record Bus Stop today it would sound like the version of the Sugarplum Fairy."

If the Hollies would like to get some more chart hits it might be an idea to re-record some of their earlier hits... I´m sure The air that I breathe would be a great hit once again. Or why not Very last day (in these days). C´mon boys!!

I had a listen to it on the amazon page (just look up the band and the new album) and I quite like the sound! A very good cover of a great Hollies song!!

This is a very decent version by those talented Swedish youngsters!

Thanks for the link!

I think it's a good version too, not so very different from the Hollies.
