Terry was in the recording studio recently in Nashville, TN. Singing back up vocals on a new CD by Yusuf, the singer formerly known as Cat Stevens. Paul McCartney has since added his harmony to one of the tracks Terry sang on. .

Great news!!!
The last Yusuf album "AnOther Cup" was great. Good to have Cat back. And now an ex-member of my favourite band will sing background on his new album. Great news! Can't wait to hear that song. Very Happy

Do you really think that AnOther was great? I think it was a disappointment. But I´m waiting for Yusuf´s new one.

Yes, I do.
What did you miss ?
"Maybe There's A World" could have been a 1970s Cat Stevens hit. It sounds like a track from "Tea For The Tillerman".
"In The End", "The Beloved" and "Greenfields" are three of his finest recordings ever, I think. Nice melodies and arrangements.
Then we have memories from older Cat Stevens albums. A nice version of the "Heaven" sequence from the "Foreigner Suite" and a version I did not like on "mona Bone Jakon" but now think it's a highlight in its version on "AnOther Cup" ("I Think I See The Light").
This CD is great and much better than his last recordings as Cat Stevens, such as "Izitso". If you compare this CD with Cat's legendary albums "Tea For The Tillerman" and "Teaser And The Firecat" then you're right but it's as great as his other recordings as Cat Stevens. It has highlight songs and songs that are not so good. But all in all I like it and was glad that he was back with his trademark voice and sound.
