Hi Gordon i wish we were able to save them for the last two furlongs but that too is against the rules. It is very difficult being a jockey because there are so many rules you have to remember whilst race riding, so many in fact whilst trying to remeber them you are not concentrating on trying to win the race, then you get hauled in front of the stewards and asked why you didnt obtain the best possible finish for the horse. Its the stewards that decide what the best possible finish you should have got. If anyone is interested i should have my first ride for two months at Ludlow on Thursday on a horse called Monolith.

You don't mean that surely Question I'll take a look for you in the paper on Thursday. I might even have a flutter. I wish I had taken on board your tip for Saturday Sad

PS Have you ever managed as many 'hits' in the one race as the hollies had in twenty years Question Laughing

Hi Gordon im really sorry. The horse just didnt make the weights he needed one more horse to pull out of the race for him to have been able to run. Sad
It was unfortunate as he would have had the best form and a great jockey on him too Very Happy lol
Never mind i can have a nice long rest till November now

Hi kim. That was a pity. BTW I should have written, 'I see your horse isn't running' instead of 'I see you're not running' Very Happy Sorry Embarassed I came in a wee bit under the weather last night.
