Who is Bert Weedon?, I have an old Cliff Richard concert and he is talking about this great guitarist, Hank Marvin comes forward and then Cliff instead of saying Hank he says Bert Weedon, I have always wondered who this person was.

| Bert Weedon is a guitarist famous for writing the book "Tune In A Day" teaching budding guitarists the basics of playing the instrument. He also had a number of instrumental hit records in the late 50s. In the 70s he had a bit of a come back. I met him late in 1977 and he is a really nice guy. These days I don't hear about him performing but he has done a lot of work for charities through the Water Rats. |
