I have the Imperial album "Beat Group" and there is a version of Taste of Honey on it.
Obviously this is not the big brass version on the box set. The equivalent British album would be "Would you Believe" and it 's not on it and it appears that the song was only released in America. Is this correct? Has this version ever been reissued on cd? I 've been unable to find it anywhere else. |

The First version of "A Taste Of Honey" was recorded on 1 March 1966 at Abbey Road for inclusion on that USA album "Beat Group", where it appeared in Stereo and Mono.
The second version, with additional accompaniment arranged by Mike Vickers was first issued on the box set "Long Road Home" in 2003, this second version was recorded over 12-16 August 1968, again at Abbey Road Studio. |

There is also a nice version of A taste of honey broadcast by Swedish radio after the 1966 Stockholm show. |
