Hi all,
I was in the shopping centre tonight when I heard Hope being played in the store, I don't know if it was the Hollies singing as there was a lot of noise around. Did anyone else record that song?
Thanks all,
Anthony |

Anthony, In Australia, Jimmy Barnes' son, David Campbell recorded 'Hope' and made a hit with it. |

Are we talking about the same Hollies "Hope" or another song bearing that title? |

No it's the same as the Hollies song, thanks Malco it may have been that version I heard. Just seemed very strange hearing it. |

Many thanks, it sounds like what I heard was David Cambell's version, how silly was I thinking that the Hollies newer material would be played in the shopping centre.
But I do here their older stuff from time to time, the last being Gasoline Alley Bred a few months ago. |

Horrible version imho. Although the Hollies version is pretty slick, too I like it much better! |

I was recently in a Supermarket and I heard 'Jennifer Eccles' being played. I haven't heard 'Hope' being played though. |

I have never heard Hope (The Hollies or any other version) anywhere but when I was driving my car about a week ago I heard Just One Look which put a smile on my face (I also turned the radio up a little too).
