Art Garfunkel has one of the most exquisite voices ever. The concert in Central park that Simon And Garfunkel performed in 1981 is one of the best i have ever seen. They have both got voices like angels and their harmonies are breathtaking.Art Garfunkels performance on Bridge Over Troubled Water reduces me to tears every time.Bright Eyes is a lovely song but not in the same league as the latter. |

Recently the Simon & Garfunkel collection was in the UK album charts - picked up the 4CD/1DVD (the latter of the Central Park Concert) for about £15 - superb bargain! |

That was a bargain James.I actually posted that reply on the Elton John topic but it must have got moved to a new one because i strayed too much.Anyway what the hey,Simon and Garfunkel have always been a huge favourite of mine especially the albums Sounds Of Silence,Wednesday Morning,3AM and Bookends.WishYouA Wish off Butterfly has shades of Simon And Garfunkel about it,The Hollies were big fans. |

That doesn't surprise me, since Simon & Garfunkel and the Hollies were each huge fans of the Everly Brothers. |

That doesn't surprise me either as they did cover I am a rock on 'Would you Believe' too which Paul Simon praised. |
