I'd be incredibly surprised if they didn't have access to a PC!

Certainly Jimmy Smith has one...hmmm, when was the last time he posted something...duh.

Hi Agneta,

They certainly accept new members - I only became one two years ago.

I don't know why they have not replied to you - the latest email is:

Just want to say that I sent an email, and the next day I got a reply from Sheila Bowen saying that she'd put an application form in the post for me, along with the Hollies Christmas card! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Great news, Agneta!I was getting worried about this. Thought I'd talk to Chris and Sheila in Preston because they usually sit up front, but did not meet them this time. Glad you seem to get your membership now.

I can tell you that occasionally, members of the band do take a look at the forum, some more than others, but they do not spend hours a day on PC's like some of us do.

Some of the band only got PC's last year and their only use for them generally is business and emails. They are certainly not PC geeks and much prefer to spend their time on other things.

Unfortunately, after the show in York on 22 November, I had an accident which resulted in me being in and out of hospital for a couple of weeks and eventualy having major knee surgery mid December.

I am just about able now to get my leg under my desk so all of the planned moves for both the website and the forum did not happen over Christmas. This is down to me, not The Hollies.

Hopefully the planned updates can now happen over the coming months.

I hope you are not implying that any of us are computer geeks Rolling Eyes .I don't think any of us were saying that the band should spent lots of time on them ,but things like the forum are a good indication of how fans feel and what they want. That should be important to the band ,don't you think???????? Anyway hope your knee is feeling better,it's best not to kick things Wink .

Hi Rob,

I'm sorry to read about your accident and hope you're getting better. My uncle also had knee surgery, and he's up and about now, so it shouldn't be so bad.

I spend a little too much time in front of the computer than I should, but it's also for business and emails, too. I think if Tony and Bobby were actively participating on this board, we'd be falling off our chairs laughing at their messages every day! Laughing

Imagine if we actually heard from Allan from time to time on here (Paula, Kathryn, rest of the Clarkey fan club?)! Wink

He might just file a few restraining orders after reading some of the threads!

Vrinda Very Happy

Hi all,
I've been thinking the lads don't need to log in here , they already know what they are doing.

I'm sure they do read some of these posts from time to time, just whenever they have time. I'm also sure they have family, hobbies etc that they would rather spend time on at home, they do right!! Very Happy
