Here's an article I got amongst a collection of others off eBay a while back. I don't know the name of the original publiction it's from, but it might be a British magazine. It's called, "The Hollies: Evergreens of Pop." (There's never been an apter title!) It's an interesting mini-biography of the group, with some background information we might not have heard before and, of course, some dazzling photos!

That's a cracking 70's photograph of the band, looks like it's from the same shoot as the Hollies ['74] album cover. Another wonderfully atmospheric shot is that on the front of the Long Road Home boxset book. |

Interesting find Vrinda!
Sounds like Tony's first impression of Eric the 'grunt' Haydock wasn't great and what is Graham wearin in that third pic that is beyond awful Love the last pic though very nice |

Thanks, Geoff! I think I may have some more on similar lines.
I like that last photo, too, James. Imagine it in color!
Good point, Katdowl. Allan wasn't the only one with fashion handicaps! There is a name for that outfit Graham is wearing, but I can't remember it. It's Indian, I think. It seems strange that Eric would grunt at Tony like that, since he was the one who actually suggested that Tony join. |

I believe Graham is wearing a caftan in that photo. Hey, it was the '60s! |

Ah! photos one and two are just so lovely .They just encapulate everything I love about the lads. Those sweet faces, how could you not love them on first sight? And pic number four is sooooooooooo sexy .I think Allan definitely has problems with Graham's caftan in pic three .And as Geoff says although not perfect ,it's great to see any article on the lads .Vrinda yet again another pure gold nugget.Ta Queenie . |

Thanks, Paula! I love the first two, and the third would be nicer if the guys didn't all look so dour. I didn't think Graham's fashion choices could have such a devastating effect on everyone around him! |
