Here's an article I got amongst a collection of others off eBay a while back. I don't know the name of the original publiction it's from, but it might be a British magazine. It's called, "The Hollies: Evergreens of Pop." (There's never been an apter title!) It's an interesting mini-biography of the group, with some background information we might not have heard before and, of course, some dazzling photos!

That's a cracking 70's photograph of the band, looks like it's from the same shoot as the Hollies ['74] album cover. Another wonderfully atmospheric shot is that on the front of the Long Road Home boxset book.

Thanks, Geoff! I think I may have some more on similar lines.

I like that last photo, too, James. Imagine it in color!

Good point, Katdowl. Allan wasn't the only one with fashion handicaps! There is a name for that outfit Graham is wearing, but I can't remember it. It's Indian, I think. It seems strange that Eric would grunt at Tony like that, since he was the one who actually suggested that Tony join.

I believe Graham is wearing a caftan in that photo. Hey, it was the '60s! Smile

Thanks, Paula! I love the first two, and the third would be nicer if the guys didn't all look so dour. I didn't think Graham's fashion choices could have such a devastating effect on everyone around him! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
