If you type Terry Sylvester into YouTube you will find audience videos of the man himself doing LCW and He Ain't Heavy from a recent Beatlefest.
On a fashion front, Terry seems to have spent too long on the other side of the Atlantic. |

A far cry from the tiger print jacket he wore in 1972 (as seen in the video for "The Baby"). I want one of those! |

I was at the Chicago Fest for Beatles Fans, and had several opportunities to talk with Terry. He was in good voice, very well received and I suspect he will be invited back.
But it was nothing but shorts and Hawaiian shirts on the man all weekend! I wore my worst Hawaiian shirt, but Terry won hands down. Or lost... |

The worst is the current trend of camouflage shorts. Godawful! Is this a statement about the Iraq situation? If it is, it's wrong-headed. The youth were just the opposite during the Vietnam War in the '60s. They wore colors and dressed stylishly. They made a stand AGAINST war. Now they surrender to it. How times have changed, and not for the better. |

Hey, Terry likes Hawaiian print shirts. I have no problem with that.
People here may recall that last summer I posted a few great shots of Terry taken down here in Ohio when he performed. Guess what? He wore a Hawaiian print short and shorts then, too. I guess that's just his thing. |
