Sad to learn of Denny's passing....aged 66,a real character and a fine vocalist
Denny was the male "voice" of The Mamas & The Papas,and did great justice to John Phillips' classic songs....only Michelle is now the sole survivor of a "classic" American vocal group

Is it true that Denny recorded Indian Girl? I saw an item at the time that he had but I was never able to find a copy. |

Yes, "Indian Girl" by Denny Doherty was released in the US on the Columbia label. Keep searching; it's out there. It was also released on CD in the box set on The Mamas and The Papas, the one with the book-style packaging. |
